December 2010 Newsletter

Happy Holidaysfrom our hearts to yours!

‘Tis the season to be thankful and we at Rider Horsemanship are truly thankful for the fabulous year we have had sharing what we know with all of you. Thanks again for all your continued support and enthusiasm!

We are equally excited about the New Year and all the ways in which we can grow together. We continually strive to meet your needs and are developing new DVD’s, educational opportunities and training programs throughout the year.

One of the new, and FREE, educational services we are offering is our blog: http://taoofhorsemanship.blogspot.com. It is a Q&A with video. Each week we will posting a question from one of you, with a written answer and a short demo video. Due to scheduling conflicts, we are a little behind in our filming. Be sure to check back weekly as we will be updating our blog with videos.

Check out our MOST Popular Clinic Formats!

The following 2 clinics were SO popular in 2010, we’re bringing them back for 2011! These 2 clinics addressed SO many needs and wants from both our students and their beloved equine partners. Both clinic formats addressed the following challenges, desires and goals: fear and confidence (both on the ground and while riding); slowing down and becoming more patient and observant of our inner voice and our horses; listening and understanding; giving permission to feel and learning where to go with that information (both personally and in our horsemanship); becoming soft, gentle and guiding with our horsemanship requests; why less is more; asking vs making our horses; understanding boundaries and why they are important; aligning our energy chakras with our horses through synchronized and meditative movement (both on the ground and while riding); becoming one in mind, body and spirit with our horses; acquiring true and giving partnership, understanding leadership through non-action and action….and so much more!!!!!

Winter Maintenance
for Your Horse

Why wait until Spring to “restart”
you and your horse? If Winter
keeps you inside, and away from your horse, send your horse to us!
Our facility hosts a wide array of training areas, such as: two round pens, a covered arena, outdoor
arena and 200 acres of trails.

We offer full-time and part-time training (and maintenance) for
your horse. Some horses may
need to be schooled just a couple days a week to maintain while
others may need a more focused training schedule. Either way,
each and every horse is revered
and schooled in our Tao of Horsemanship approach.
