Owned,
raised and trained by Caroline Rider.
Gracie has Khemosabi bloodlines
and perfect confirmation. She is a
very sweet and gentle mare. She truly
enjoys human companionship, especially
kids. Easy to please and willing,
with a bit of sass. Fantastic ground
manners. Joins up at liberty and in
the field, w/t/c online and under
saddle, trailer loads, stands quietly
for farrier, vet and bathing. Gracie
is also excellent on the trail.
She would make a great show horse,
western pleasure, dressage, H/J or
trail class. |

Everyone
who meets him says he is "a Love."
Sweet, very affectionate and well-mannered
horse. Beautiful join up and liberty
work. His "lunging with a purpose"
is very pretty, which he does online
and at liberty. His collected canter
is coming along. Under Saddle: walk-trot-canter,
and lateral movements (leg yield at
a trot, shoulder-in at a trot, and
I have worked a little with haunches-in).
Very willing under saddle and likes
to please. He has had a lot of time
with Caroline's method: he stops with
your hips, moves with the rider's
hips for transitions, and stays very
connected. He loves dressage and flat
work, and is a beautiful mover. He
gets very proud and happy when people
are proud of him! He is ridden bitless
- with a "stop and turn bit" (which
goes around the nose) and does very
well with it. Has a great work ethic.
Great at trailering, ground ties for
grooming, and is very good for farrier,
vet, etc.
I lead him for pony rides with a 6
and 9 year old, and their parents,
and he was a very happy boy. He would
do well as a lesson horse. |

ADDITIONAL:
|
Ben
has appeared in these Rider Horsemanship
DVDs:
"Lunging with a Purpose" and "Round
Penning Volume 2!"
Ben would not do well in a Field Board
situation. He is prone to laminitis
if given Spring and Fall grass, but
is fine if kept off of the rich grass.
His feet are in very good condition,
and there is no separation of the
lamina between the hoof wall and sole
of the foot. He has not had a bad
laminitic episode. I had x-rays taken
last Fall. |
